Blake Jones | CEO
Blake Jones has been with Olé for five years. He is the CEO and one of our most experienced coaches. Blake holds an AFC/AFF B-License.
With a diverse range of knowledge and expertise, Blake has driven business development, with a focus on balancing growth and building a sustainable academy model, Blake is constantly innovating and looking for creative solutions to improve and provide opportunities which will best serve the players and their development. Blake has been instrumental in establishing a range of partners for the Academy, including professional clubs, US Universities, overseas investors, and paving the way for other domestic opportunities.
Originally from Wisconsin, Blake also attended the Shattuck St Mary’s Centre of Excellence, leading to his connection with Technical Director, Ben Sippola.
Blake is a graduate Magna Cum Laude of the University of Hartford, with a double major in Economics and Political Science. During this time, Blake played four years of NCAA Division 1 soccer, reaching two America East Finals and was a 3-time America East All-Academic Team Selection. Blake also went on to play three seasons in USL League Two (PDL) and was selected to the PDL All-Conference Team.
In addition, Blake wrote an Honours Thesis examining the economic impacts that solidarity payments and training compensation had on youth soccer clubs in the United States. His work was used by numerous clubs across the United States.
On the football pitch, Blake coaches across all ages in the academy, bringing energy and high intensity to his sessions while building great connections with players and their families.
