Ben Sippola is a graduate of Butler University (NCAA Division 1), where during his time was recognised as a 1st Team All-American, Academic All-American and Semi-Finalist for the Hermann Trophy. He graduated with a BA in English Literature. Previous to Butler, Ben spent two years at United States Development Academy (USDA) Shattuck St. Mary’s and was the first graduate of the Boys Soccer Centre of Excellence under Head Coach Tim Carter.
Prior to joining the Olé staff, Ben was drafted to the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer and spent several seasons playing professionally in the United States and Scandinavia. He was previously Head of Sales and Marketing with Bluechip Study USA, Sweden.
Ben holds the New Zealand Senior Level 2 and Junior Level 3 “C Licence.” He has recently been appointed as the Campaign Manager for the Vanuatu Football Federation’s 2017 U-20 World Cup Campaign.
If not in football Ben would be found on a river somewhere teaching folks how to fly fish. He is a published writer. His most recent work can be found in The Fly Fish Journal.
