We are looking for a Goalkeeper Coach to join the Olé Football Academy team.
This is a role for someone who is excited about the opportunity to work with young players, supporting their development as footballers and people.
Be part of a driven coaching team, at a top Wellington-based facility, where world class people and players are consistently being developed.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for all goalkeepers currently in the academy – youth players of various ages.
The person in this role will need to learn and understand the Olé ‘style of play’ and our philosophies and methodologies, ensuring these are implemented into goalkeeper training. There is also plenty of opportunity and freedom to innovate and bring new ideas.
This role will involve research, planning, delivery, evaluation and analysis for both goalkeeper training and games. The person in this role will work closely alongside other coaches to run training and assist at matches.
The role requires a strong administration and communication skill set, in order to stay on top of coordinating players, parents and training sessions. There is also scope to scout and actively recruit goalkeepers to the programme.
While this role is specific to goalkeeper coaching, we are hopeful that the person in this role is able to step into a playing role if necessary. We also hope to find someone who is willing to assist with coaching our youngest academy players at times as well.
The nature of the role requires flexibility with time, open mindedness and the willingness to continuously learn.
The role is open now. If you’re interested, or you’d like to know more, please get in touch with Olé CEO Blake Jones: [email protected]
