After 5 dedicated years, Olé CEO Blake Jones is leaving the academy.
With a diverse range of knowledge and expertise, Blake has driven the academy in many ways, both on and off the grass in the last 5 years.
Olé is grateful for Blake’s time, professionalism, care and the high standards he’s brought to the organisation. Throughout his time at the academy, Blake has demonstrated unwavering commitment to young, Kiwi players and their development on and off the pitch.
From Blake Jones:
Our time together has come to an end. Over the past 5-years my job has rarely ever felt like “work,” to me it was play, and for that I am forever grateful. A massive thank you to the Wilson family for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an amazing organisation.
To the parents and families; thank you for trusting me to be part of your child’s football development. The support and love you showed will not be forgotten.
To the team at Olé; Ben, Mark, James, Tory, Sim, Sandi, Jepo, Mikey, Stroudy, Marg, Jared, Blair, Mike and Tyler; I love you guys. Your work on behalf of the kids and devotion to the project has inspired me daily. You will all be life-long friends.
And, last but not least, to the players; I am humbled and grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you all for the past 5-years. The lessons you guys have taught me have transformed my heart and helped me become a better man. I hope you know that our relationships are only just beginning, this is not a good-bye.
I wish the Olé organisation continued success in the next part of their journey.
Sincerely,
Blake Jones
Blake will be missed by many staff, parents and most importantly, players, he’s impacted in his time at the academy.
