Olé Football Academy Welcomes Alan Koch as Technical Director in 2023
We are pleased to announce that Alan Koch will be joining the Olé Football Academy Team as Technical Director at the beginning of 2023. Alan’s experience in coaching and player development will further enhance our player pathway and he will play an important role in the continued success of Olé Football Academy. Alan has had a successful professional coaching career in the United States and in Canada, and we are confident that he will be a valuable addition to our team.
Alan has extensive coaching experience spanning almost two decades. He has coached at various levels, including professional and collegiate. In his most recent role, he was the Head Coach of FC Edmonton in the Canadian Premier League. From 2017 – 2019 Koch was the Head Coach of FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer. Prior to that, he coached Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in the United Soccer League. He brings a wealth of experience to our organisation, having served in Head Coach positions inside a number of professional environments.
Koch will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Olé’s technical program, from player development to coaching education. He will work closely with our staff to ensure that we are providing our players with the best possible environment for growth and success. Alan’s wealth of experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset to Olé Football Academy. His ability to develop players and coaches will help take the academy to new heights and produce even more high-level players in the future.
