At the beginning of the 2015 junior club soccer / football season Garrod Brader (General Manager of PAK’nSAVE Porirua) met with the Olé Football Academy staff to discuss an ambitious sponsorship project to bring opportunities to young footballers in the Porirua region. Not long afterwards, Brader and PAK’nSAVE Porirua jumped on board to sponsor six full-time Olé footballers in the Olé Football Academy / Western Suburbs Elite Programme (Grades 11 – 14). Brader was adamant that the nearly $7,000 in scholarships be awarded to players within the Porirua region with families that play an active role in the greater community.
“On behalf of Olé Football Academy, we cannot thank PAK’nSAVE Porirua enough for the decision to sponsor not only one, but six of our full-time elite footballers. Olé Football Academy could not be more proud to represent PAK’NSAVE Porirua. To have such a like-minded organisation on board as a sponsor with ambitions of promoting a positive Porirua is fantastic for the academy and community. We are absolutely confident that the players selected for the scholarships will represent both organisations in a positive manner. On behalf of everyone at Olé Football Academy, thank you to PAK’nSAVE Porirua and Garrod Brader for taking the initiative to make this happen.” ~ Ben Sippola ~
