Olé Football Academy is pleased to announce the new hiring of Aurora Duquette-Caven for the position of Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Community Outreach Coordinator effective immediately.
Aurora was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Recently graduated with a Bachelor of Health Studies from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where she worked with the Varsity Queen’s Men’s Soccer Team as their Community Outreach Coordinator and Team Manager for all four years of her degree.
With her family’s involvement in professional sports and having grown up playing sports and dancing, she knew from a young age that sports, health and physical activity would be passions of hers. With her role as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Community Outreach Coordinator, Aurora is excited to be able to apply her knowledge and experience to improve Olé FA players performance on and off the field and increase involvement in sports and physical activity and increasing health promotion in the Porirua community.
“It’s exciting to add Aurora to our staff at the academy”, Coach Alan Koch said earlier today. “Her academic and practical experience will be a great asset to our organisation. She understand elite level performance sports and also thrives working in the community space.”
