Olé Football Academy is currently seeking host families for 2018!
From Monday, 22nd January – Sunday, 16th December 2018, this is a great opportunity for your family to be immersed in the Olé Football Academy community while extending hospitality to an ambitious young Kiwi footballer.
We are currently seeking host families residing within the Porirua – Wellington region. Host families are responsible for providing a safe and structured environment for players between the ages of 14 – 17 years old.
Olé Football Academy see the host family as a critical component to the academy moving forward. By becoming a host, you and your family are making a deliberate decision to enter into and become part of a young footballer’s development and journey into a well – rounded Scholar – Human – Footballer.
The host family benefits the player and academy in a number of ways. Providing a top quality living environment benefits the player as he or she grows emotionally, socially, and psychologically. Host families allow the academy to allocate more space and resources to helping non-residential players (nearly 95% of the academy). The host family helps the academy move towards sustainability for years to come.
Financial support is provided, with host families receiving between $100.00 – $150.00 per week (to be agreed upon prior).
