Olé FA have acquired former Academy Director and Assistant Director of Football at North Wellington FC James Prosser as an intrigal part of their coaching staff, the Academy announced today.
Prosser joins Olé FA as part of our incoming coaching staff for the 2024 season in the capacity of D17 Head Coach / HPP Manager. Since arriving in New Zealand 2011, Prosser has held various positions within the NZ landscape, having a three year stint at Olé FA from 2011 – 2014, moving to Head Coach of Island Bay United and Academy Coach for Kaizen FA before his tenure at North Wellington FC.
His solid background and wealth of experience in the USA with a 4 year playing career at Division 1 Butler University, a 7 year professional playing career in the USL, (United Soccer League), two years as an Assistant Coach at D1 University of Louisville and two years as Assistant Coach at D1 University of Central Florida experience will help with the continued development of our academy players as they move through their respective pathways in the football realm.

I am excited to see what he can do with our D17 group and also help us improve our individual programming for all players.
Olé FA is excited to welcome James back to our team in January. Prosser holds an USSF C Licence and is currently working on his NZF/Oceania B Licence.
