Olé partner with Bargain Chemist Porirua!
Olé Football Academy is excited to announce a new partnership with Bargain Chemist Porirua, who has become the academy’s exclusive player welfare supplier.
Olé has been visiting Bargain Chemist Porirua for everything needed to take care of players for some time, including strapping tapes, bandages, protein, electrolytes, first aid, and more.
The opportunity to work in official partnership with Dean and the awesome team at Bargain Chemist Porirua was a no brainer.
Olé sees a great alignment with Bargain Chemists values and its own, with an emphasis on doing things a little differently in support of Kiwis and communities, particularly here in Porirua.
While Olé sees itself as an organisation “changing the landscape” within New Zealand football, Bargain Chemist see themselves in the same light within the pharmacy landscape. With the belief that communities deserve better, they have successfully made healthcare essentials more accessible, offering free prescriptions on all fully funded medicines, an abundance of choices and more affordable options.
Wellington Regional Manager Dean Zeng commented, “Since we established ourselves in Porirua, Bargain Chemist has looked for many ways to immerse ourselves within the local community and make a positive impact in promoting healthier and better lifestyles. Partnering up with Olé does just that. We’re extremely excited to see what we can achieve together for the wider community!”
Head of Player Welfare at Olé, Matt Jepson has a huge job preparing young athletes to perform at their best, day in and day out; preventing and rehabilitating injuries, maximising recovery, and looking after general wellbeing. Being able to access everything he needs from one, local place who understands the work of the academy and goes out of their way in support it, is amazing for Matt and the important work he does with the players.
Matt said, “I’m really excited that our partnership with Bargain Chemist Porirua is official. Dean, Tracey and his team have supported our community throughout this season with a level of quality service that is unrivalled locally. This partnership bodes really well for the health of our players, staff and wider Olé family in the years ahead. If you’re in the area, need any health product assistance, pay Bargain Chemist Porirua a visit!”
Olé is excited to be in partnership with Dean and the team, and looks forward to what the two organisations can achieve together in football and the wider Porirua community.
