2017 Western Suburbs Senior Prizegiving
A Night of Excellence
The 2017 Western Suburbs Senior Prizegiving took place last night, Saturday, 19th August at the Porirua Club. Nearly 200 Western Suburbs members were in attendance, with more than 40 representing Olé Football Academy, from the U17 teams, Reserve team, First team and the coaching staff.
It was a fantastic evening, hosted by Jason Pine and Godfrey Boyce, with guest speaker Mark Sorensen making time to come and share his experiences with the Black Socks — even our very own Ben Sippola spent some time on the mic, joining Mark in a Q&A. It was a fun atmosphere, the ‘Div 11’ boys dressing up for the occasion with their best Hawaiian shirt ensemble, although it’s hard to know if that wasn’t their typical Saturday night get-up.
