It’s Easter Weekend, and that means… Double headers! We can’t wait for a jam packed weekend of football action.
Hopefully everyone is in holiday mode and you’re ready to come and use some of that extra time to support our Western Suburbs teams.
First up on Friday
Good Friday has both our Men’s Reserves and Men’s First Team playing at the same time, so you’ll have to take your pick!
The Reserves are up against Miramar Rangers in Capital Premier, a team who are sitting similarly to our boys at the beginning of the season. Hopefully it’ll be a nice day out at David Farrington in what will surely be a good game.
The First Team are away to North Wellington at Alex Moore. With 4 starting players having been away at U17 NZ National Team camp this week, it’ll be interesting to see who Ben decides to put out against a strong and physical North Wellington side, especially with another game to come in the space of two days.
Capital Premier: Western Suburbs vs Miramar Rangers | 2.30pm @ David Farrington Park
Central League: Western Suburbs vs North Wellington | 2.30pm @ Alex Moore Turf
And on Monday
Both teams come back home to Endeavour Park for back-to-back fixtures.
In Capital Premier, we’ll be hosting Wainuiomata first up, and following that in Central League we’ll have Waterside Karori visiting.
A big weekend for the players with lots of game in a short space of time. They’ll definitely need your support!
Capital Premier: Western Suburbs vs Wainuiomata | 12.30pm @ Endeavour Park
Central League: Western Suburbs vs Waterside Karori | 2.30pm @ Endeavour Park
See you out there!
