Wow, this football weekend is truly packed with highly interesting games.
We’ve got the women’s team playing a semi-final in the Kelly Cup on Saturday. They qualified after a great comeback winning 3-2, after being down zero two in an entertaining game against Palmerston North Marist last weekend. The semi-final is played against Seatoun AFC who won their quarter-final convincingly, 4-0, against Petone.
For our Men’s team this weekend is the start of the Winter season with openers in the Capital Premiers as well as the Central League.
The 2nd team kick-off the capital premier with a game against Tawa AFC on Saturday. There might by a change of venue from Endeavour to the Olé turf, so keep an eye on our channels for the final decision.
The first team plays Miramar Rangers MCL here at the Olé turf to kick- off the Central League. After weeks of friendlies and pre-season games we finally take off for real, we are beyond pumped!
Shortly after the final whistle of the first team game, the Olé infused Eastern Suburbs AFC face Team Wellington for the title of New Zealand champions. If you’re not in Auckland to see the game live you can catch it on Sky.
Hope to see a bunch of you out there supporting our players!
