Olé Football Academy has named Quillan Roberts as Goalkeeper Coach and Facilities Manager for the 2024 Football Season

Olé Football Academy is pleased to announce Quillan Roberts as Goalkeeper Coach and Facilities Manager.

Quillan joined Olé FA and Western Suburbs FC as first team goalkeeper in 2023 and will return to both organisations for his second year in this new role. Quillan has an exciting football pedigree. He represented Canada at the 2011 U17 World Cup, scoring a goal against England, and recently has played a major role in helping Guyana progress to the CONCACAF Nations League. Quillan has also played for Toronto FC and Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer, and Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League.

“After an excellent first year on the pitch as a player and as a coach with the academy, we are happy to bring Q back in an enhanced role with our goalkeepers and around the academy.” Coach Koch said. “It’s been a fun journey to see him grow as a coach and we are incredibly excited to see the impact he will continue to have around the academy and also how our young goalkeepers develop even further under his tutelage.”

“I’m looking forward to being back at Olé FA and Wests for another year both coaching and playing.” Roberts said. “I believe we can achieve our collective goals for both the senior team and the academy as a whole.”

Quillan brings coaching experiences in Canada from Woodbridge Strikers, Electric City FC and Centennial College to the academy.
