Skill Builders is a fantastic opportunity for a player to get his or her first taste of football while developing basic skills in a relaxed, fun, grassroots environment.
Skill Builders is a grassroots initiative aimed at bringing football to youngsters (ages 5 -11) living in the Wellington and Porirua region. Training sessions consist of mini skills drills and small sided “street football” games.
Players are encouraged to try newly learned skills in games where mistakes and creativity are applauded.
The coaching staff is comprised of Olé Football Academy senior players alongside full-time Olé trainers. A number of current Young Olé Academy players began their football in the skill builders programme.
Term 4 Skill Builders will begin Friday, September 23rd and will run consecutive Fridays until December, 9th (10 sessions in total). Please note that there will be no training during the Term 3 School Holidays (Sep 30th and Oct 7th).
Training will take place from 6:15 pm – 7:15PM at the Olé Football Academy. Enrolment will be capped at 85 players so don’t miss the opportunity to sign up!
Cost of the Programme is $125.00 for the term.
