Where Intentional Training Holds Ultimate Success
GO FAR WITH US

At Olé Football Academy we give our players permission to unashamedly pursue their greatest ambitions. Over the past 20 years, we have a proven track record of youth player development and placement of the New Zealand player at U.S. Universities and professional clubs. Olé embraces methods and philosophies consistent with “World’s Best Practice.” We see football as the #1 medium for teaching young people. The Olé Way is our multifaceted approach to player and personal development.

We choose not to believe in pre-destined or anointed natural football talents. Rather, we give our footballers the opportunity to become the best they are capable of becoming, no matter where they come from, how small or big they are, or how much promise they seem to show at an early age. We believe that effort is at the foundation of all “World Class” performance and that a great attitude beats any amount of aptitude. Constantly striving to train and compete in line with “best practice” our training staff have developed an environment where a consistent message, philosophy, system and distinct style and way of play permeates through the larger academy culture.

Olé F.A. invites female footballers born 2001 – 2005 to trial for the Olé Elite Girls programme, which will be delivered by University of Richmond footballer Lexi Prillaman (click here) along with professional Olé coaches.

My name is Lexi Prillaman, I am currently a junior at the University of Richmond in the USA, I look forward to working with all the girls in the Olé Elite Girls programme. I’m a native of a small town called Magnolia, Delaware – on the east coast about 2 hours north of Washington D.C. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a place where sports were readily available to me, I played basketball, hockey and football all throughout high school. In the end, I found myself most passionate about football. I followed my dreams to become a collegiate football player at a Division I school, and committed to the University of Richmond as a junior in high school. I now find myself as a junior captain leading my team in goals and paving the way to a championship next season. I am grateful for the opportunity to come to New Zealand and share my skills, knowledge and enthusiasm with other likeminded young players.”
