Home away from home
Olé F.A. are on the lookout for families interested in hosting a student-athlete in 2017. The age of the student-athletes will be between 14 and 17 years old.
We have been very fortunate with the hospitality shown in the community, which reflects in the tremendous success we are experiencing with this initiative.
Hosting a student-athlete is a very unique opportunity, both for the host family and the football player. Moving away from home is never easy, and having the opportunity to live with another footballer at their home is an important step in allowing them to settle in their new surroundings. Likewise for the host family, hosting a student-athlete furthers the sense of community which is so strong at Olé, hosting creates friendships that can last a lifetime. As well, of course, it’s another person to help fold the washing and vacuum the living area.
