“Ultibend it Like Beckham” Free Street Soccer Monday Nights are back on.
We had a fantastic run out last term with 40 – 50 players turning out for the majority of sessions and we start “Ultibend it Like Beckham Free Street Soccer” again on Monday, February 8th.
Street soccer nights are absolutely free of charge and are open to all footballers in the Porirua/Wellington region. The sessions are on Olé Football Academy’s state of the art artificial playing surface and are designed to create a football environment based around “total uninhibited and unstructured free-play” e.g. street soccer.
Players are to be dropped off by 6:00 pm and are divided into teams to play small sided games (3v3, 4v4, 5v5) in a tournament format for 1 hour, finishing no later than 7:15 pm. Players will be supervised by one or two grown ups responsible for organizing and timing, but not coaching, the games and tournaments.
There is no need to confirm attendance. Just show up, drop off your little footballer, equipped with boots and shinnies of course, and sit back on the hill and enjoy watching the kiddos play, learn, and have fun !
