Olé Football Academy is excited to welcome Tory Schiltgen to our full-time staff as our first ever Director of Olé FA Womens Programme. She will also be taking over as Director of Olé FA Grassroots Programmes and continuing to develop our younger generation of New Zealand footballers.
Hiring Schiltgen into a full time role is massive for the growth of Olé FA Women’s Programme and for female footballers within the Wellington region and beyond. Olé is committed to investing in the New Zealand footballer and we believe the potential within the women’s game is huge. Having Schiltgen on board as a full-time coach allows more female footballers the opportunity to train at a high level in a professional environment and ultimately compete on a national and global scale.
Prior to moving to New Zealand, Schiltgen spent 5 years in advanced analytics management consulting at Deloitte, the world’s largest professional services company. While at Deloitte, she kept close ties to the game, leading the Deloitte US Women’s Soccer Team to international competition and coaching grassroots football all over the world. Schiltgen graduated from South Dakota State University with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Science in Statistics. During her time at South Dakota State, Schiltgen was a key player on their Women’s Soccer team where she started over 50 games and was named an ESPN Academic All American in 2010.
Welcome Tory to the Olé Family.
